Okay, I'm back. I think. But anyways, I've been doing some projects, and I got my Austria cosplay done! And I'm making a black velvet frock coat. But I'll go on to the product review. I am currently eating Moonstruck milk chocolate and it is a beautiful confection. Very smooth, with the right amount of bitter and the right amount of sweet. I tried their dark chocolate espresso and it was pretty fan-freakin'-tastic! I'm not a big one for dark chocolate, but this was a perfect balance again of bitter and sweet along with coffee and cocoa.
I am actually eating a bar of it, but these are adorable. They're made locally in Portland, Oregon and I think that's so cool since I live near here.
Just a little jumble of ramblings that spill from my cerebral cortex onto the page.

Sewing Makes My World Go 'Round.
I am pleased to say that I completed a pair of half-bloomers last night in about an hour and a half. They're darling and were a little...devil to make. The sewing was straightforward enough, but this was my first experience with elastic and I had some complications. They kind of match my apron that I made a while back, all lacy and tea-dyed. I hope to wear them to a convention soon, but I'm a bit strapped for cash. Okay, bye.

Hetalia Cosplays and Yummy Chocolates!
I've entered a new fandom and this one is semi-educational! I've fallen in love with Axis Powers Hetalia over the past few weeks, and I'm working on two cosplays from that series: Austria and Lithuania. Both adorable guys that I can actually pull off (I'm too short most of the time to play a dude.) I went shopping for the fabric and I fortunately already had the pattern I needed. I'm using Simplicity's matrix coat patter. (*gigglesnort* Oh, inside joke.)
Moving on to other things, yesterday my mother and I made Earl Grey tea truffles. They're very yummy, but the smell of the caramel centers cooking made me sick. Here's a few pictures for your viewing pleasure:
Thar ye be, loveys! I'm off to wrap prezzies. Ciao!

About Little Miss Adora Batbrat and Nightwish
I was lurking around Youtube and I came across a new video by the ElectroGoth Queen of Youtube, Adora Batbrat! Unfortunately, her cat just died, and I think it hit her pretty hard. Well, she'll be in my prayers. But I think that she is very pretty in an unusual sort of way, what with her eyebrows gone and her hair changing colors faster than your brain can process them. She's always so creative with her make up and such.
This is a link to one of my favorite tutorials that she's done:
On to other things, I have been liking Nightwish for a long time. But now that it is sans Tarja, I haven't been interested in their new music. I've been wanting to explore more of their music, but for some reason, I have this fear of listening to new music. It just seems so tedious. I want to pose a question, though; have you ever been inspired by music to created a craft or fashion? I'd like to get a glimpse into your minds, so comment away, my darlings~! Tah tah for now.

Oh, I just remembered I have a blog...
Oops! Sorry to the four of you who read my little journal, I just haven't had that burst of creative cocaine in quite a while, but I was glancing up at my toolbar and cried a tear. But I'm back. I should probably find a theme for this so I don't just have verbal diarrhea every time I pull up Blogger. It'd be fun to do this with someone else as well. I feel so alone on the Internet! But I bought my BJD! He's an eLUTS Kid Delf that I adopted from a friend and his name is Nicholai. He's so sweet, but he needs a new wig, not just his wavy pink one *shudders*. My dog is being an obnoxious...Okay, disregard that whole thing. I was talking with L and he suggested I did my blog about crafting, cosplay, and clothing! And, obviously, I want to put my own whimsically dark twist on it. And maybe through in random nerdy outbursts about my fandoms. So yes! My next post will be relating to that! Good bye.

I hate homework, yes I do...
I don't like the fact that I have so much reading to do. In a text book, no less. Oh well. Anyways, I was thinking of cutting my hair, but I have no idea what kind of style I want...It's probably going to end up being almost the same as I had it before...Meh, whatever. I also wanted to try making my own perfume as well, but I have no jojoba oil in my house. If anyone has any creative ideas, feel free to post them. I think it would be cool to do some tutorials on here...I'm feeling like this post is very mediocre, but I can't really produce much better when my AP World text book is glaring at me. Bye.

A semi-serious post.
Hello, my darlings. I've been perusing some womens' magazines lately and I've found a very disturbing trend. Time and time again, I see our gender still bending to the will and desire of the men around us. It makes me sick. We are equals in this world today; or so you have been taught. In the corporate world, men are still paid more than their women co-workers. Even if the woman is a CEO, her fellow male CEO would get a higher salary.
My dear mother has informed me that in the medical profession, women are paid just as highly, but most patients are uneasy with the thought of female physicians. She had a few leave and ask for a male doctor.
Among teenagers in high school, boys will often rate the girls around them based on their looks. I don't know if I've ever been rated, but I'd imagine I'd get a low score, seeing as I'm not 'normal' and don't have a high social standing with the boys who engage in such activities. We are being treated as cattle, being judged on whether or not we're valuable.
In magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Glamour, there is a plethora of articles based around how to please a man. How to please him during sex, how to win his heart, how to be a 'cool' girlfriend. Ladies, it seems that it is no different now than it was a hundred years ago. Sure, people tell you sexism is dead. That is a load of lies. Society tells us to be quiet, not burden our man with our feelings and emotions. We are still meant to be seen and not heard. Now, I've even looked in mens' magazines and websites, and there is not a lot about how to please a woman, how to be a good husband/partner, about how to win her heart in a gallant and chivalrous fashion. Thank the feminists for beating manners out of them.
Very rarely will I be in public and have a young man hold the door for me. And I don't mean propping it open behind them. I mean waiting for you to go through the door and then entering. I've never heard of a man asking how he could be better to his female partner. Do not get me wrong, I've met plenty of wonderful and mannerly young gentlemen, but not nearly enough. Men don't seem to want to woo women anymore. They want to look good enough to have us for a night. And if a man sleeps with many women, he gets cheers and titles with positive connotations from his friends. But should a girl do it, oh no! You harlot! Society shuns you for your scandalous behavior. Now tell me what's wrong with that picture.
Call me a Nazi feminist, call me an old fashioned hag, call me 'like, uncool dude!" But I still feel the very same about these heinous issues still plaguing the world.
